Glasgow traders promotion

This page has some information about our promotional activities, and what you can do to get your brand message out.

We are working flat out on promoting the festival. Whilst we are doing social posts about you, we also want to make sure all your fans know that you will be at the festival.

To help with that, we have put together a communications pack for you, so you have everything you need to let people know you will be there.

  1. Share our Facebook event on your page. Facebook has changed so you no longer have to create a new event for yourself, but can instead share our event on your page. Here is how:
  • Find our event here
  • Click the 3 dots next to the share button
  • Click add to page
  • Select your page
  1. Schedule a series of tweets/Instagram posts. You are free to do your own, or we have created a series of tweets for the next 4 weeks that you can schedule now. Not sure how do this? Then hit reply and we can talk you through it.

We are proud to announce that we will be part of Glasgow’s first Mindful Drinking Festival in October.

This FREE event is a celebration of the new wave of alcohol-free drinks available in Scotland. Festival goers will have the opportunity to taste, and to stock up on, a great range of delicious, innovative drinks using radical alchemy including alcohol-free beers, spirits, cocktails and kombuchas.

The Mindful Drinking Festival is run by Club Soda, in association with Heineken® 0.0, and will feature over 25 brands from Scotland and across the UK who are looking to make a big hit with their alcohol-free drinks. The Festival meets a growing curiosity for healthier low and no-alcohol drinks and is expected to attract over 2,000 fans from the sober curious and parents-to-be, to the foodies and fitness fanatics.

The festival will also feature:

  • An opportunity to meet Willem van Waesberghe, Heineken’s Global Master Brewer from Amsterdam<
  • Leading local venues, mixologists and drinks producers showcasing Scotland’s best alcohol-free drinks
  • Beer tastings, cocktail masterclasses, and competitions for local bartenders
  • How to mix the perfect alcohol-free gin or spirit
  • Live music, DJs & street food
  • Workshops and talks on mindful drinking

  1. Don’t have an email list yet? In marketing terms email still rules. You can use the Festival to run a competition to get people to sign up to your e-mail list (put a simple sign up form on your website or Facebook page), or simply as a reward for re-sharing your posts on social media. For example:
    • Sign up to our email list here and pick up a free case/bottle of xxxx at the Mindful Drinking Festival.
    • Win a VIP tasting of xxx at the Glasgow Mindful Drinking Festival by signing up to our email list/Retweeting/Liking this post
  2. Contact the press. Here is a skeleton press release for you to adapt and send to any media contacts you have. Invite them to come and meet you at the Festival and offer to send them your product. Don’t forget to share your unique story – who you are and why you have made this product. You can see some of the brand stories from our last festival here for inspiration
