About the festival

We have been running Club Soda for over three years. The most popular question we get asked is about what to drink instead of alcohol?

Not only have we built up an amazing knowledge of the range of drinks out there, but we are also witnessing the explosion in the number of great tasting, well-crafted alcohol-free drinks.

New alcohol-free beers, wines and ciders are making their way into pubs, healthy alternatives like kombucha and herbal infusions are becoming mainstream, and even Tesco now has an easy to find, well stocked alcohol-free drinks aisle.

Our goal is simple:

Our Mindful Drinking Festivals are about bringing some of our favourite drinks into one place for everyone to try. Whether you are on a health kick, moderating your drinking habits, pregnant or trying, or just a bit sober curious, this is your chance to find a new favourite tipple.

What to expect

Our first Mindful Drinking Festival in summer 2017 at Bermondsey Square went so well that we decided to do another one – a Christmas one – at Spitalfields Market in November. As with the summer festival, we featured a great range of innovative drinks to taste and buy, as well as talks from producers and some new product launches. We had:

  • Zero to 0.5% abv drinks; beers, wines, adult soft drinks.
  • 25 stalls with innovative drinks.
  • Talks and tastings from producers and experts.
  • Non-alcoholic cocktails and mulled drinks.
  • Free samples of some of the newest and most exciting drinks available.
  • Inspirational talks from mindful drinkers, comedians and authors (go to our home page for details and to book tickets for each.)
  • After-work Friday pop-up party with Morning Gloryville.
  • Great live music from local musicians.

And we have just announced the next Festival date: 28 July 2018, at Spitalfields again!

The festivals are free to attend, but some workshops or tasting events within the festival may be ticketed – check out our homepage to book these when the full programme has been announced.

If you are a drinks producer, wholesaler, or have something else you’d like to showcase at the festival, please read more about opportunities to get involved with a stall at the festival or as a sponsor.
