DJs Billy Hayes and Hightower from Glasgow’s Sober Clubbing events will play music throughout the day. The next Sober Clubbing Night is on 18 October at the Canvas Nightclub.
Many incredible singer-songwriters come from the streets. Multi-talented Daniel Docherty (25) from Glasgow is one of those. We’re not talking about being streetwise but about growing up in public, mastering your skills while busking in the streets, parks and shopping arcades. Docherty has ‘seen it all’ and has earned his stripes.
Singer songwriter Scarlett Randle brings her range of styles to our festival. She is also the recent winner of the Tenement Trail’s new artist competition. We are a bit in love with her single Falling.
FlewTheArrow is Lee McGilvray, a fast-rising contemporary folk artist from the small town of Ayr on the West Coast of Scotland. Melding fleeting finger-style melodies with percussive beats through an array of pleasant open tunings, accompanied by his poetic lyrics and powerful voice, that collate to form a warm sense of original songwriting that is yet to be discovered.
