What is Club Soda

Club Soda helps people live well by being more mindful about their drinking, whether they want to cut down, take a break from alcohol or stop drinking. We are a social business and work with local government, the public sector, drinks companies, hospitality venues, and the local community.

What is the Festival?

A low and no alcohol drinks market, connecting people to the best drinks on the market. We have run 7 of these events so far, at the Old Truman Brewery, Bermondsey Square, and Spitalfields Market.

The event is augmented with inspirational talks and workshops on mindful drinking, health, and drinks demonstrations.

Who comes to the EVENT?

People looking to change their drinking habits, foodies, mums-to-be and families. We also get many hospitality and drinks industry professionals attending, to find out about the latest products and trends.

85% of January 2019 attendees said they tried a drink they’ll definitely buy again.

Brighton Open Market

Brighton Open Market is located between London Road and The Levels park, north of the city centre, just a short walk from the seafront and popular with locals across Brighton. The covered market hosts over 45 permanent independent retail units and 12 artists’ studios. The units include cafes and restaurants, local produce, clothing, toys, art, music, and the market is also home to local radio station Radio Reverb.

Drink brand opportunities

We are inviting a small number of brands to become key sponsors of the event. Sponsors will feature in our event promotion and will have priority access to prime space at the venue.

The market will be taken over by 3x3m spaces where brands can bring their own stall setup, and market stalls provided by the Open Market (c. 2x2m). You are welcome to decorate your stall as you wish (full details will be provided after booking).

Challenging logistics?

For smaller brands we are hoping to partner with Wise Bartender so you can send your stock direct to them (there will be a cut off date) and WB will bring it on their lorry on the morning of the festival. That way you only need bring yourselves and whatever else you need to dress your stand on the day. TBC, so email Ali to express your interest.

If you have been to one of our London or Glasgow Festivals before, you can expect the same experience in Brighton too. We will again organise a talks and workshops programme for event attendees on mindful drinking topics.

We will work with our PR company on a promotional plan for local and national media

We will do outreach to local organisations, trade and retails contacts and influencers too.

Practicalities

Practicalities

We will order ice for all stalls, free of charge. Electricity will be available at some stalls, for an additional fee, please check the stall info. There will be additional phone charging points on the Club Soda stall for stall-holders without electricity. The Market is locked overnight between Saturday and Sunday, with security guards on site. Loading and setup takes place on Saturday morning; takedown and exit on Sunday evening, both at allocated times. Read our FAQs here.
